Synopsis (From Goodreads)

Karlan Culpepper has worked his entire adult life, and most of his youth, to build up the ranch he knew he would someday inherit. When his grandfather dies, and the terms of his inheritance include he and his three brothers marrying within six months, and at least one of them having a baby on the way within the year, things get trickier. Contacting Dr. Lachele Simpson, a professional matchmaker, seemed the only way to go!

Hope, the oldest of the Quinlan Quadruplets needs nothing more than to get out from under her parents’ roof, and take her sisters with her. She feels stifled, and she wants more than anything to marry. After a long weekend of testing, the four sisters embark on a road trip that would change their lives. Hope quickly agrees to marry Karlan, one of the four brothers waiting for her and her sisters in Wyoming. Will they be able to make their marriage work? Or should they have waited to get to know one another a little better like all their siblings had?

My thoughts on Wyoming Wedding

WARNING: This have spoilers. You’ve been warned.

The synopsis of this book was enough to make me curious but what made me actually grab it was the author, Kirsten Osbourne. I have read two of her other series and I love the feelings, the smiles and sometimes the laughs I get out of her books. I don’t know how she does it but if I’m going to read cowboys or historical romances, I like hers.
Karlan Culpepper is the oldest of four brothers and they live on a ranch with their mom. Their grandfather was the owner and now that he has died, the will say the four of them have to be marry and at least one of them has to be expecting a baby within a year of everything goes to their cousin. What do they do? They hire a matchmaker, of course.

Hope Quinlan is the oldest of quadruplets. She and her sisters were raised in a home with values that we don’t see much in this time and age, so when they think of going away from their parents, the best idea is to get in touch with a matchmaker because all of them want to get married and create a family. It’s just pure luck that the four of them are needed in the same place.

The story is good in my opinion, even when I have read quiet a few series with this “have to get married and one has to have a baby if they don’t want to lose X or Y place that is dear to their heart.” The fact that I have read some stories like that doesn’t mean this has anything more than that in common because the relationships and how things go on is different, sweet and I was very happy with this book.

I like the relationships that are showed during the book, between the brothers and sisters, with the mother but specially the misunderstandings between Hope and Karlan, the first of the four couples to get married. How many problems an unused vibrator can cause with your husband? You can find out in this story *laughing softly*

Another thing I liked a lot about the story was the fact that Karlan was respectful of her and the wishes she had to wait to consummate the marriage. She was raised by parents a little too old fashioned, to the point her mother said to her that she was not to look at her husband when he was naked or that she just needed to lay in bed and let him do to her what he wanted. Really??? How out dated is that? *sigh* Said the woman who’s mother told her something similar when she was younger *she whispers to herself*

Kirsten Osbourne has a sweet way to relate romance novels and this is the first contemporary story I’ve read from her, the others were historical ones. In fact, I even thought up to a point this was kind of historical because, men being so polite like the Culpepper I have not seen in my 30 years of life.

The Culpepper Cowboys series is written by two authors: Kirsten Osbourne and Merry Farmer. Also, I have read the little excerpt for the next book at the end of Wyoming Wedding and I have to admit, Marry Farmer’s writing and way of expressing what was going on has me intrigue.
